I peek at the headlines every morning trying to stay reasonably informed but not overwhelmed. I cannot help if I allow myself to be dragged under by events.
This morning it was announced that Putin is complaining that NATO is waging a “proxy war” in Ukraine and it’s not fair. Wah.
He previously whined that Russian troops were being portrayed unjustly in the media and the horrific war crimes were actually made up by the Ukrainian government to turn world opinion against him.
Oh, muffin.
Your plan didn’t live up to your hype? The Ukrainians didn’t welcome you as a liberator and now the world is against you? This is pathetic posturing as he bombs civilian evacuation routes, housing, hospitals, schools.
Putin paints himself as the victim; laughable were it not so tragic. His war crimes drown out his pouting and threats.
Arm Ukraine and stop this here; send the bully and his sycophants whining back to Russia.
Support the resistance! Ukraine is showing the world how to defend against power hungry despots and their ilk.
