The New Gentleman in My Life

Ohmygosh the best thing has happened! I have a new gentleman in my life…handsome, classy, great smile, impeccable manners and furry muppet feet.

This is how it happened: I have new neighbors and they have two little kids and a dog. Said dog doesn’t get out as much as he would like and that’s where I come in, because some days I just want to walk or run with a puppers.

I miss that a lot, but I am still not ready for a pup of my own.

So, here’s Bentley! He even hangs at our house after walks and Pippin is cautiously optimistic about the friendship as he likes cats, too.

A perfect gentleman.

Smiling white golden retriever: the gentleman in my life!

Morning moon

I expected cold but not like this and nasal malfunction is a pretty reliable indicator that it’s somewhere close to zero. Gandalf thought this was *perfect* weather and he bounced off to roll in the snow. Watching… Continue Reading

Gandalf the Grey (Ghost)

I am privileged to share my home with Pippintook, the cat and Gandalf the Grey, the Norwegian Elkhound. Gandalf is my boon companion; he is dignified yet playful, smart without being cocky, and gorgeous. He loves the snow (that must be the Norwegian part) and watching him roll and snuffle and luxuriate in it always makes… Continue Reading
